THANKS EVANSVILLE!
MayorBrochureCover.0038

We’ve worked together these past four years and gotten a great deal done, but we can’t pat ourselves on the back just yet. We need to stay focused on the future to improve Evansville for generations to come.

Looking to the future I see an Evansville with a bustling downtown and a diversified economy that creates jobs to keep our young people here at home. I see an educational system that is second to none, and a community that continues to join together to tackle our most difficult challenges.

I’ve enjoyed every minute serving as your Mayor. We’ve worked as a team to overcome the obstacles that have come our way.  We’re stronger for it and we’re also setting an example for our children. Thank you for allowing me the chance to continue my work. With your support, friendship, and ideas, we will accomplish great things for our community.

The Vanderburgh County Central Committee

officers032006 was an extremely successful year for the Vanderburgh County
Democratic Party.  At the beginning of the year we set several
difficult goals.  We proudly report that our goals were accomplished.  We elected Brad Ellsworth as the Eight District's Congressman.  We elected Eric Williams to his first term as Sheriff, re-elected Stan Levco as Prosecutor, reelected Royce Sutton to County Council, elected Troy Tornatta to the County Commission, elected Jonathan Weaver as Assessor and elected and reelected several State Representatives, a State Senator, and multiple Township positions.

Now, it is time to work toward a successful 2007.  We are currently forming "Team Weinzapfel” for the City elections.  Our leader, Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel, is already working hard on his campaign and creating an agenda that will continue to propel Evansville to the forefront of Indiana.

The officers of Vanderburgh County’s Democratic Party proudly stand behind the candidates they’ve assembled for "The Ellsworth Team." From left, Donna Leader, Treasurer; Larry Aiken, Chairman; Connie Robinson, Vice-Chairwoman; and Rob Faulkner, Secretary.
